This summer is actually much better than I have anticipated. I have spent a lot more time at home, but I have also spent a fair amount of time with some really good friends. I see them every Monday and Wednesday at the Japanese Language sessions also on the weekends. Last weekend we went to South Haven with Kanako's mom. It was a lot of fun! I got sunburned really bad on my feet though. Here are some pictures!
Yesterday I went to the financial aid office to talk about Study Abroad. The more I prepare the more I realize that my dream is finally coming true! I am less than 3 months away from heading to Japan! There is still so much to do to prepare, but I can't do much yet because I don't have any information from my school. I am supposed to receive a predeparture packet sometime this month, but I am starting to get impatient! Haha!
